Our History
- 2001 - Verona High School (VHS) opens first D.A.N. chapter
- 2001 - High School division begins
- Fall 2005 - Ithaca College opens second D.A.N. Chapter
- Fall 2005 - Collegiate division begins
- Spring 2006 - first website launched through Ithaca College D.A.N. (IC D.A.N.)
- Summer 2006 - D.A.N. International opens with a chapter in Florence, Italy
- Fall 2006 - D.A.N. National and D.A.N. International merge to create D.A.N. Global
- Fall 2006 - website moved to www.doanythingnice.org
- January 9, 2007 - Articles of Incorporation accepted by the state of NY. D.A.N. officially becomes a non-profit organization.
- Fall 2007 - MS Benefit concert hosted by IC D.A.N. and National HQ @ Ithaca College
- Spring 2008 - Public Relation officer joins the national staff
- Spring 2008 - New web 2.0 site launched at www.doanythingnice.org with member registration
- Spring 2008 - 501(c)(3) tax exempt status granted to D.A.N. as a public charity
- Summer 2008 - Charlise Manuel joins The D.A.N. Team as the Director of D.A.N. Global
- Fall 2008 - Dani Novak joins The Board of Directors
