Act #6: Kindness Bulletin Board

Creating a Kindness Bulletin Board

Begin by brainstorming ideas for kind things to do unexpectedly for people. You can choose people who would not expect students to do a favor or act of kindness for them. (maybe a Janitor?!)

• Write these ideas down on paper or up on the chalk board to keep track.

• Make a bulletin board in the hallway of the school or in the classroom and when a student does one, he or she sign s their name on the act that is posted on the board.
  

Then as the year goes on make sure to update the board with signature and add acts of kindness to be carried out! You can host a party at the end of the year to celebrate the success!

The best part is that the students get to be part of something big. Meanwhile they learn valuable lessons about the importance of doing something because it is the right thing to do!
